Melissa Averinos

Melissa Averinos lives and breathes art.  She paints and collages with abandon, and is a creator of contemporary quilts and all sorts of other beautiful things.  She was awarded Best in Show for her original modern quilt at QuiltCon, and teaches modern quilting both from her home studio and on the road. Melissa loves painting, quilting, rust, unicorns, yoga, gardening, thrift shopping and pie.  She grew up on Cape Cod and now works from a studio in her old house which she shares with her “adorable husband and rescue dogs”.  Licensed through Wild Apple.
