Deborah Eve Alastra

Described by some as Impressionistic or Village Naive, Deborahs' paintings have touches of whimsy displaying her vision of the world, seeing beauty in everyday subject matter, perhaps ever in search of that utopian village life. International living and travel has been a strong influence on her work, as does her current residence in the Pacific Northwest of the US. As a Fine Art graduate of the University of California, her work is part of their permanent archives and more recently collected by the Marquam Art Collection, Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). She has exhibited in California and Oregon and continues to be placed in hospitality settings such as Kaiser Hospitals OR, the Vancouver Clinics WA, OHSU, private residences, Anthropologie, Amazon FireTV UK, and sold as puzzles, prints and reproductions internationally. With a very large ever growing portfolio, her subject matter ranges from antiquated urban scenes, lush gardens, landscapes, unique stills and dream imagery; which many find uplifting in this tumultuous world.
